[1] United Church of Christ Pastor Blesses Planned Parenthood after It Sells Aborted Babies

A 20 August 2015 LifeNews.com article by Sarah Zagorski titled “United Church of Christ Pastor Blesses Planned Parenthood After It Sells Aborted Babies” reports that United Church of Christ Minister Tom Davis recently offered blessings to Planned Parenthood (PP) following the release of videos showing PP executives haggling over the price of aborted baby body parts and discussing how to alter abortion procedure in order to obtain “fully-intact human cadavers.”

Davis is the author of Sacred Work: Planned Parenthood and Its Clergy Alliances, where he argues that abortion proponents embrace “a form of humane theology” and suggests that others don’t.

A 22 August 2015 WTOP Radio article titled “Church: Pastor Charged in Prostitution Sting Placed on Leave” reports that the Rev. Suler Acosta of City Church York (Presbyterian Church in America) of York, Pennsylvania, has been placed on administrative leave by his church after being charged with three prostitution related offenses in Frederick County, Maryland.

The City Church York website reports that on Sunday, 23 August 2015, Pastor Suler Acosta submitted a letter of resignation for his position as pastor of City Church York and asks that prayers be made for City Church, Suler, his wife, and his family.
