“But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.” [Ezekiel 33:6]

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” [Ephesians 6:12]

[2] Russian Orthodox Church Breaks Relations with Church of Scotland and the United Protestant Church of France over Denominations’ Embrace of Homosexuality

A 5 June 2015 LifeSiteNews.com article by Fr. Mark Hodges titled “Churches Embracing Homosexuality Prepare Members to Accept the Anti-Christ: Russian Orthodox Leader” reports that the Russian Orthodox Church is ending “formal contacts” with the United Protestant Church of France and the Church of Scotland over the denominations’ embrace of homosexuality.

The chair of the Russian Orthodox Church Commission for Family, Protection of Motherhood and Childhood the Very Rev. Fr. Dimitry Smirnov said:

“We separated ourselves from them as from the plague, as it’s contagious. The Russian Orthodox Church cannot support with its authority something that is just an iniquity from the Biblical point of view.

“These are not Christian communities anymore. This is another community with its own distinct name of ‘LGBT.’ Its future is simple and clear – the ‘fire of Gehenna’ – this is just what the Holy Scripture says.”

“…the former Christian peoples are preparing themselves for the solemn reception of the Anti-Christ.”

The United Protestant Church of France was formed from a merger of the Reformed Church of France and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of France.

[3] The Trinity Foundation Publishes on Its Website “A Protestant View of Church History: The Early Church” by Dr. Ronald N. Cooke

The latest Trinity Review has been posted to The Trinity Foundation  website. “A Protestant View of Church History: The Early Church” by Dr. Ronald N. Cooke is a needed antidote to much of the “Church Histories” written over the last two hundred years in which much of the history contained therein is Roman Catholic Church history, or what Dr. Cooke refers to as the Papal Dominion.

[4] Post-Reformation Digital Library and Puritan Studies Program Information Available on the Wycliffe College Website

The Post-Reformation Digital Library (PRDL) is a select database of digital books relating to the development of theology and philosophy during the Reformation and Post-Reformation/Early Modern Era (late 15th-18th c.). Late medieval and patristic works printed and referenced in the early modern era are also included. The PRDL is a project of the Junius Institute for Digital Reformation Research of Calvin Theological Seminary.

The Puritan Studies Program (PSP), an academic collaboration between the Jonathan Edwards Center Africa (JEC) and the John Wycliffe Theological College (JWTC) of Johannesburg, South Africa. JWTC was founded in 1996 to train qualified men as ministers of Christ. JEC was founded in 2009 through the strategic partnership of Yale University and the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, South Africa. As an international hub for the Jonathan Edwards Center at Yale University, JEC Africa at UFS offers accessible, affordable, and academically credible programs in historical theology, primary sources, and religious history. JWTC and JEC Africa have identified the need to provide a quality academic graduate program for Puritan studies supported by dedicated scholars who share our vision and mission.
