“But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.” [Ezekiel 33:6]
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” [Ephesians 6:12]

[1] British Colombia Pastor Refuses to Turn Away the Unvaccinated
By Harley Sims, True North
One week after the Northern Health region of British Columbia announced that places of worship would need to turn away unvaccinated worshippers to resume in-person services, another northern B.C. pastor remains defiant.
Simon Lievaart of Bethel Reformed Church in Smithers was fined CA$2300 in May for conducting in-person services despite a government ban. Places of worship reopened across B.C. later that month, but Northern Health shut down its regions’ churches again in October amidst rising cases of COVID-19.

The 2021 17th issue of The Confessional Presbyterian, our “Bavinck” issue, is at the book maker and we expect to be in print in late January at the earliest. If you missed the big announcement earlier this year, the journal is now under the wing of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary as publisher, which ensures the journal will carry on, and as is, well into the future beyond the current editors’ tenures into the next generation of confessional Presbyterians. Below is the contents of the 2021 issue. You may pre-order a copy from GPTS (back issues remain available at cpjournal.com). As always, your interest makes this premier print journal of confessional Reformed theology and practice possible. Thank you!
