Transgenderism Is Not Common Sense, but is Nonsense

So much of leftist thinking about moral, political, and spiritual issues in America are pure nonsense, yet many people, our media in general, and much of the educational domain seek to promote it, applaud it, teach it, or to have our nation to fund and promote it as if it is the gospel truth. One issue is that of transgenderism.

This subject has become dominant in the education of our youth. I taught in the public schools for twenty-six years, and education is of great interest to me. It can be observed in many educational curriculums that the promotion of sexual confusion rooted in ideologies designed to destroy the values of our Judeo-Christian society promote nothing but pure nonsense.

Men are men because of sex chromosomes, and women are women because of sex chromosomes. This cannot be changed. It does not matter what an individual wants to be or not to be.  

Sex chromosomes are chromosomes, or packages of DNA, that are found inside the nucleus of all of your cells. There are two different kinds: X and Y, which determine whether you’re biologically male (XY) or female (XX). Chromosomes themselves are made up of proteins and DNA that carry your genetic information from cell to cell. 

Because there is no third gamete type, there are only two sexes. Sex is binary. Intersex and transgender “mean entirely different things. Intersex refers, however, to a variety of rare conditions where genitalia appear ambiguous or mixed due to a congenital disorder of sexual development. It is important to note that an intersex diagnosis is made based on an objective, observable medical condition. Transgender, on the other hand, has to do with subjective feelings, thoughts, and an internal sense of identity. Most transgender people aren’t sexually ambiguous, but merely ‘identify’ as something other than their biological sex.

The Bible recognizes that people can be born with damaged, malformed, or non-functioning sexual organs. This is what Jesus meant when he said, “There are eunuchs who have been so from birth” (Matt. 19:12).

It is important to be aware that eighty-one percent of transgender adults in the U.S. have thought about suicide, forty-two percent of transgender adults have attempted it, and fifty-six percent have engaged in non-suicidal self-injury over their lifetimes.  This is an important statistic!                                                                                                                                                        

Using data from a U.S. Transgender Population Health Survey, researchers examined the prevalence of hazardous drinking, problematic drug use, serious psychological distress, suitability, and non-suicidal self-injury between transgender and regular adults. Results from this study, which is the first national probability sample of transgender people in the U.S., support previously reported findings that showed significant disparities in health outcomes for transgender as compared with ordinary Americans.

While transgender and ordinary gender adults reported similar rates of hazardous drinking and problematic drug use, transgender people were significantly more likely to experience poor mental health during their lifetimes. Compared to those born sexually male or female, transgender adults, however, were seven times more likely to contemplate suicide, four times more likely to attempt it, and eight times more likely to engage in non-suicidal self-injury.

In a booklet entitled, “How Communists Stole American Education” the author, Dick Raddatz, presents a good case. The Communists are not by any means alone in this process, as much of it developed from the removal of prayer and Bible reading from the public schools, something that promoted positive, moral, and disciplined values as a part of education. But Raddatz hits this truth we should see as it being an attack not just on schooling but leading to the attempt to dissolve the nuclear family and to undermine Judeo-Christian values.  This is an attempt to destabilize the West by the Communist ideology to the demise of Christianity, which has been basic to the foundation in all our nation and in various degrees in the Western world. Communists even now unite with radical Muslims in that they both are the common enemy of the Judeo-Christian worldview and morality. We who are evangelical Christian are especially being attacked.

Their means of attack on our Judeo-Christian standards are attempts to transform our schools into sexual indoctrination camps by things like: “Having drag performers read LGBTQ+ books to students, have school libraries provide pornographic books, have biological males enter girls private spaces, have men play against real women in sporting events, have minors take hormones that will permanently sterilize them, have kid remove their breasts, testicles, and genitalia, have teachers help kids in gender transition from their parents, and even to have kids to be removed from parents who don’t affirm the so-called new gender that these indoctrinated kids might feel is their true selves.”

But what Does the Bible Say About Transgenderism? 

We know from Genesis 1 and 2 that the categories of male and female are a part of God’s design for humanity. Indeed, when God created the first human pair in his image, (image meaning “a divinely spiritual being, he created them male and female (Gen. 1:27)), he made the woman to be a complement and help to the man (Gen. 2:18-22). Far from being a mere cultural construct, God depicts the existence of a man and a woman as essential to his divine plan in creation. The two are neither identical nor interchangeable. But when the woman, who was taken out of man, joins again with the man in sexual union, the two become one flesh (Gen. 1:23-24). Here is a beautiful connection suggested.  Dividing the human race into two genders, male and female—one or the other, not both. It was God’s pattern

This is why male and female are (uniquely) the type of pair that can reproduce (Gen. 1:28; 2:20). It’s why homosexuality—a man lying with a man as with a woman (Lev. 18:22)—is wrong, and not in accord with God’s plan. It’s why the apostle Paul can speak of homosexual partnerships as deviating from the natural relations or natural function of male-female sexual intercourse (Rom. 1:26-27).                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

The expenses of treating transgenders, medically and psychologically, with huge sums of money most often with the taxpayers paying the escalating expenses, and yet we have educational institutions pushing it, because they say it is what some need to be happy and fulfilled starting even with the earliest education.

However, in our nation we need to turn to common sense, something that was basic in the formation of this land and away from the WOKE-PROGRESSIVE indoctrination in our educational establishments, TURN TO COMMON SENSE.

We are hearing a lot about the need for the use of “common sense,” to stand up against so much of the corruption has developed in our land in past few decade

COMMONSENSE thinking can be traced to the influence of Thomas Reid, a minister from the Church of Scotland who was ordained in 1737, who stressed this teaching back when there was a great exodus by the Puritans to America. This COMMONSENSE thinking was basic to the formation of our nation!      

For COMMONSENSE PHILOSOPHY, Reid maintained that all good philosophy must begin with the first principles of common sense. “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,” as Declaration of Independence states.

Any philosophical theory that would force us to give up first principles must be rejected as not only false but also absurd. Reid explains, “It is a bold philosophy that rejects, without ceremony, principles which irresistibly govern the belief and the conduct of all mankind in the common concerns of life, and to which the philosopher himself must yield, after he imagines he has confuted them. Such principles are older, and of more authority.

Thomas Reid’s Reformed influence on America came through his Scottish Commonsense Philosophy, spread by figures like John Witherspoon, the President of Princeton, provided strength for American Founders with a philosophical bulwark against the skepticism of that day, grounding trust in human faculties (like reason and morality) as divinely given. Witherspoon pointed to the moral basis for law, countering radical empiricism with an intuitive realism that affirmed a rational, ordered world and accountable human agency, essential for building a republic. 

When you add all the destruction in transgenderism, there is no way it can be counted as positive, not just because it is condemned by the message of the Bible, but how on earth does any thinking person fail to see that it doesn’t add up to something that should be promoted as many of the left are presently doing, even to young children.

Transgenderism is not common sense but is nonsense. We need to wake up and realize true moral math and see the union of what the Bible teaches about transgenderism and what is very evident in the terrible negative factors in it. We need common sense to stand against it, and the world of education is basic.   We just need moral math, for some of those of the so-called “politically correct” leftist thinking seem to lack!
